Until She’s Safe helps survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence and abuse find trusted support, make informed choices, and shape a future with greater safety and accountability.
Every gender. Every orientation.
Women are a central focus of our work. We welcome survivors of every gender and sexual orientation, including women, men and nonbinary people, whether cisgender or transgender.
Gay, bisexual and straight men belong here, as do trans women, trans men and people of every gender identity. You do not need to explain or disclose your identity to browse these resources.
Our name does not limit who belongs here. Each independent provider has its own service eligibility; we describe those limits so you can explore options that fit your needs.
Led by Emily
Emily Runnels operates and leads Until She’s Safe. She shapes its priorities, voice and community relationships. The work begins with listening, useful information and respect for each person’s choices.
Why teal and purple
Teal represents sexual violence awareness in our brand. Purple represents domestic violence awareness. They appear together because this initiative addresses both, and people’s experiences may overlap.
The colors represent causes, not genders. Every pathway on this website is open to anyone exploring the information.
What is here today
This website offers a starting point for finding independently operated support services and information. You can browse without creating an account or sharing your experience with us.
We do not operate a hotline, provide counseling or legal advice, or offer emergency assistance. Listed organizations are independent; a listing does not establish a partnership.
Founding support
Kittrell Co. provides founding support behind the scenes as the initiative develops. Until She’s Safe has its own identity and an Emily-led direction.
Our current stage
Kittrell Co. plans to help establish a separate nonprofit. The initiative is not currently collecting donations through this website or claiming that contributions are tax deductible.
