Questions are welcome.

Straightforward answers about this initiative, the directory and what happens when you browse.

Is this only for women?

No. Women remain a central focus, and survivors of every gender and sexual orientation are welcome. That includes gay, bisexual and straight men, trans women, trans men and nonbinary people. The name does not restrict who belongs.

Do I have to share my story?

No. There are no story submissions, intake forms, uploads or visitor accounts here. Browsing this website does not open a case with us or contact a provider for you.

Can Until She’s Safe provide counseling, legal representation or a place to stay?

We do not provide those services. We are building a resource and advocacy initiative. Independent providers have their own services and eligibility rules; a directory listing does not mean assistance is guaranteed.

Does opening a resource link report anything?

A resource link opens another website. This site does not submit a report or transfer a survivor disclosure. The receiving website can still process technical information and may offer its own forms or chat services.

Review that organization’s privacy information before choosing what to share.

Are the listed organizations partners?

A listing is not a partnership or endorsement. We link to independent organizations and explain the service information we reviewed. Their policies, availability and offerings can change.

Why are some resources specific to Texas?

The directory includes national support lines, nearby outpatient mental-health facilities, selected exam locations across several U.S. states, and expanded Texas services. Coverage varies by category and place, and the list is growing. Each result identifies its source and scope; contact providers to confirm eligibility.

Does Leave this site erase my visit?

No. It opens Google in this tab. It does not erase browsing history or stop monitoring. Earlier pages, device records and network records may remain.

Can I donate, volunteer or send someone’s story?

We are not collecting donations, volunteer applications or survivor stories through this website at this stage. We will describe future opportunities when their responsibilities and handling processes are ready.

Who leads the initiative?

Emily leads Until She’s Safe and shapes its direction. Kittrell Co. provides founding support behind the scenes. The focus is the initiative’s work and the people it aims to serve.
